We went to Monaco this year for a return engagement with SAS Prince Rainier III and SAS Prince Albert of Monaco.  We were invited again for the wonderful Royal Gala for the Grand Prix at the Palais Princier of Monaco, which is probably the most prestigious social event of the F1 circuit.  Drivers, actors, business leaders and, of course, royalty were present.  My wife and I are none of the above and yet we were warmly received.

The charity soccer match which took place on the Tuesday was, uh, entertaining.  OK, they're amateurs, but for a hobby, all play really well.

Jenson Button was out and about on the Thursday night with a group of quite young Brit girls outside Stars 'n' Bars.  He was the only guy, had to be about 6-8 girls.  You can draw your own opinions on that one!
